One last thing I've paid attention to is how influential Bond movies has been on action movies decades later. The Pierce Brosnan era was great but the one-liner conversations got a bit out of hand sometimes, when there could be full conversations purely made up with nonsensical one-liners. Roger Moore's era was undoubtedly the more comedic one. One thing I noticed is, was Dalton's tenure cut short not because of him just being boring and half inaudible but for his constant groping? I mean, he found all the strangest moments in the scenes to grab some butt. It's a better balance of Bond being flawlessly great at anything at first try, which I do think has to be a part of any Bond movie, combined with the more modern and realistic tone. Out of Daniel Craig's movies I do think the last one is the best. I am now leaning towards Craig, mostly because of how movie direction and production pedantry has gotten scientifically fine tuned the last decade.
I used to consider Connery as the GOAT, too. In hindsight, I have a few thoughts about the different eras. I am currently re-watching them all on the amazon video thing.
